Chris Hodgeman is a seasoned executive with a strong background in global financial markets and technology, having resided in Asia for over two decades.

He is the co-founder and CEO of MavSocial, an award-winning social media management software company that he bootstrapped and led for the past six years, overseeing various aspects such as sales, marketing, customer service, product planning, and finance operations globally.

Before venturing into MavSocial, Chris accumulated nearly 25 years of experience in senior roles in the global markets and asset management sector, where he managed diverse teams across the Asia Pacific region.

His expertise includes trading, structuring, and selling various financial products across a wide range of markets such as rates, FX, credit, equities, commodities, insurance-linked securities, and weather derivatives.

Chris has catered to a broad client base, including institutions, corporates, private banks, family offices, and third-party distributors, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability in the financial industry.

With an academic background that includes a Master's Degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor's Degree in Maths & Physics from the University of Sydney, Chris has a strong foundation of knowledge to support his professional endeavors.

Throughout his career, he has held high-ranking positions in reputable organizations such as Credit Suisse, ABN Amro/RBS, Toronto Dominion Bank, UBS Australia, and Société Générale, gaining valuable insights and experience in the financial sector.
