    Christopher Hernandez is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Bioengineering at the University of California, San Francisco. He also serves as the Director of the Health Innovations Via Engineering (HIVE) center at UC San Francisco. Previously, he was a Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University.
