Chris Harland, a seasoned software and machine learning engineer who's passionate about building innovative products, has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Oregon, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Puget Sound. With extensive experience in both academia and industry, Chris has acquired a unique combination of technical and analytical skills, making him a valuable addition to any team.

Throughout his career, Chris has held various leadership roles, including Director of Machine Learning and Data Engineering at Remitly, Senior Director of Engineering at Textio, and Director of Data Engineering at Textio. Additionally, he has worked as a Data Scientist at Context Relevant and Microsoft, as well as a Grainger Post Doctoral Fellow and GK-12 Fellow at the University of Chicago and the University of Oregon, respectively.
