Chris Gilhooley is a sustainability advocate and a seasoned professional in the renewable energy and green technology sectors.

With a Bachelor of Architecture focused on Environmental Design & Green Technology from the University of Colorado Boulder, Chris has a strong educational grounding in sustainable design.

Having also pursued an Associate's Degree in Architecture from Cuesta College and further studies at Santa Rosa Junior College, Chris possesses a well-rounded academic background.

Throughout his career, Chris has held diverse roles demonstrating his expertise in the field. He has worked at NextEra Energy Resources as an Engineer I - Project Manager, Sales Engineer, and M&A Project Manager, specializing in PV, BESS, and Hydrogen technologies.

Prior to his time at NextEra Energy Resources, Chris has experience at REC Solar, ForeFront Power, SunEdison, SolarCity, SolarCraft, and GRID Alternatives, where he has been involved in various capacities from sales engineering to project management to design and installation.

His experience spans from commercial sales engineering to residential battery storage design, showcasing his versatility and deep understanding of the renewable energy landscape.
