Chris Gear is a highly experienced music producer, sound designer, and teacher with over 25 years of expertise in his field. He has successfully licensed music and sounds into countless films, video games, and other creative projects. Additionally, he has produced numerous soundpacks, tutorials, and masterclasses. Chris is the proud owner of OhmLab and has contributed significantly to building popular online destinations and thriving communities in the industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts from Western Culinary Arts / Cordon Bleu, and a Master's degree in Sound Design, Audio Engineering, and Music Production from Life. Chris is also a former Sound Designer at Native Instruments, Output Inc., A&R Talent Scout at Noiiz Ltd, and Director of Content, Talent Acquisition, and Team Management at ADSR Ltd. He has also worked as a mentorship network architect, training network manager, and sound design instructor at Pyramind Inc. and Director of Marketing, Training, Special Events, Development at MacForce. Currently, he is seeking remote opportunities to continue sharing his passion and expertise.
