Chris Elias is a legal professional specializing in web3, fintech, and emerging technologies. He served as a Practice Lead at LegalVision from December 2021 to February 2023, where he focused on building the company's web3 and fintech practice.1 During his time at LegalVision, Chris gained extensive experience in various aspects of blockchain and cryptocurrency-related projects, including NFTs, DAOs, ICOs, and IDOs.1

Throughout his career, Chris has worked with over 100 web3 and fintech startups, ranging from early-stage ideas to scale-ups.2 His expertise includes providing regulatory advice, commercial legal support, corporate structuring guidance, and assistance with fundraising.2
Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Technology Sydney and completed his Practical Legal Training at the same institution.12 He is admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.2 It's worth noting that while Chris works with clients both domestically and internationally, he is not admitted to practice in any U.S. jurisdiction.2
