Chris Clapp is a Partner and the National Private Equity Practice Lead at CrossCountry Consulting. In his role, he is responsible for the overall strategy, practice development, business development, and client delivery for the firm's private equity accounts. He works closely with leading private equity firms, family offices, and venture capital firms to support value creation within their portfolios by aligning with their investment theses. Clapp has significant experience in driving operational improvements at portfolio companies and executing strategic transactions such as IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, and divestitures.1
Before joining CrossCountry Consulting, Chris Clapp was a Managing Director at MorganFranklin Consulting. There, he founded and led the Private Equity Services practice and served as the Northeast Market and IPO Readiness Services Line leader. He began his career in the Audit and Transaction Services practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Clapp holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master's degree in Accounting from James Madison University and is a Certified Public Accountant.1
