Chris Chuang is the Co-founder and CEO of Relay Inc., a technology company based in Raleigh, North Carolina, that specializes in communication tools for frontline workers. He co-founded Relay in 2018, developing a screen-free communication device aimed at young children, and became the CEO in 2021.12

With over 20 years of experience in the technology and telecom sectors, Chuang's career began in 1998 as an Intern Analyst at Morgan Stanley. He later held positions at JP Morgan and McKinsey & Company before becoming a venture capital investor at Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV). He served as the CEO of Republic Wireless, a WiFi-first mobile carrier, prior to launching Relay.12

Under Chuang's leadership, Relay has gained recognition for its innovative communication solutions, including a smart walkie-talkie system that enhances safety and operational efficiency across various industries such as hospitality, healthcare, and education. The company has recently raised $35 million in funding to further develop its offerings and expand its workforce.23

In addition to his professional achievements, Chuang is a father of four and has been married for 20 years.2
