Chris Byers is a seasoned leader in the solar industry with a career spanning back to 2010. His journey includes various roles such as field installer, marketing manager, international projects manager, and ultimately CEO for a Pennsylvania EPC.
With a track record of overseeing the development and construction of over 26 MW of projects since 2016, Byers excels in building strong relationships with clients, contractors, utilities, and other stakeholders. His project portfolio covers installations in the United States, Haiti, and Kenya, ranging from off-grid setups to multi-megawatt grid interconnected systems.
Beyond his professional achievements, Byers has contributed to global initiatives, serving as a consultant for a major NGO on solar systems in Haiti and engaging in the UN Working Group focused on addressing energy poverty. Although his NABCEP PV Technical Sales Certification has lapsed, his expertise remains invaluable.
Educationally, Byers holds a B.A. from Gordon College and has pursued programs in various fields like the Seth Godin altMBA, Outdoor Education and Leadership at the National Outdoor Leadership School, and design and construction at Yestermorrow Design/Build School.
