Chris Barton is a sustainability expert with a passion for research, education, writing, social entrepreneurship, and finance. With a PhD in Innovation in Global Development and a focus on Science and Technology Studies, he has established himself as a leader in the field of sustainability, working to develop collaborative solutions to global problems. Chris has studied at Arizona State University and Thunderbird School of Global Management, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs and Management. He has worked across Europe, Latin America, and the US, using his critical and analytical thinking skills to effectively communicate complex ideas. He is currently a Senior Research Associate at ASU Office of the President and has formerly worked as a Co-Founder at Ruminahui Imports, Project Coordinator/Researcher at Portland State University's Office of Academic Innovation, and Curriculum Designer/Community Organizer at SEED SPOT. With experience in community organizing, project coordination, and sustainability education, Chris Barton continues to be a valuable asset to sustainability initiatives.
