Chris Bailey is a seasoned professional with 27 years of experience in managing intellectual property (IP) matters in China and Southeast Asia.
He specializes in advising on IP portfolios, enforcement, litigation, licensing, and technology transfer for technology-rich companies looking to commercialize their IP assets in China.
Chris has a deep understanding of IP-backed financing and IP valuation in China and was involved in establishing Intang.io, an automated patent valuation tool developed in partnership with Rouse, Inngot, and Alibaba.
His expertise extends to managing programs for IP assertion and enforcement, including software and patent license compliance, criminal and civil litigation for technology and brand owners.
Chris co-created the litigation database CIELA, containing over 60,000 Chinese IP decisions, providing valuable strategic insights to clients.
In addition to his focus on China, he has experience in managing enforcement programs in Southeast Asia and has lived and worked in Thailand.
