Chris Aniszczyk

Chris Aniszczyk is a seasoned open source technologist known for his dedication to fostering open collaboration for a better world. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at the Linux Foundation, he oversees developer relations and leads initiatives at the Open Container Initiative (OCI) and Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF).

With a rich background in technology and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Chris also holds a role as a partner at Capital Factory, where he actively mentors, advises, and invests in startups focusing on open source and infrastructure.

Throughout his career, Chris has demonstrated his commitment to the open source community through various roles, including establishing the open source program at Twitter and contributing to the Eclipse Foundation's Board of Directors. Chris pursued his academic interests by completing a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington.

His extensive organizational involvements include past roles as an advisor at various companies such as Passage, Battlesnake, Orbit, and more. Chris has also held positions at prominent entities like the Cloud Native Computing Foundation, The Linux Foundation, and the Eclipse Foundation, showcasing his broad range of expertise and influence in the technology industry.
