Chris Alford

Chris Alford is a seasoned strategic leader who has leveraged design thinking and entrepreneurship to initiate people, ideas, and movements that can change the world. With an MBA in Marketing and International Business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Chris has an exceptional grasp of marketing strategy and has put his experience to use across multiple sectors. Chris has enjoyed a long and diverse career with stints in the food and beverage, education, and senior care industries. He's worked as a Director of Strategy & Business Growth, Director of International Operations, Lead Entrepreneur, and Executive Director. He was the Founder at Be Icarus, Torch Coffee and the Chicago Coffee Company and played an instrumental role in founding and developing numerous companies and partnerships in several sectors. Chris's international portfolio includes work in several Asian countries such as China.

His most outstanding accomplishments come from his time at Home Instead Senior Care where he is the Vice President of International Operations. At Home Instead Senior Care, he served in several positions, where he helped grow the company's Asian operations while preserving its culture. In his former roles, he was instrumental in developing new worldwide initiatives and global expansion.

Chris is also a former professor and has taught marketing and business courses. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Mandarin. He can speak mandarin and has studied in Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Xiamen University.
