Chip Smith is an accomplished marketing and sales professional with over 31 years of experience in the industry. Having completed his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Brigham Young University and his Master's in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, Chip has worked extensively across various sectors. Currently, Chip is the President and CEO of SOAR Communications, a marketing communications agency that serves businesses in the Sports, Outdoor, Athletics, and Recreation industries. Along with developing and executing marketing strategies and building teams, he has also spearheaded advocacy, grown sales, and managed stakeholder partnerships at SOAR.

Before joining SOAR, Chip held various sales and marketing positions at Shimano American Corporation and was a Global Marketing Communications Manager for Specialized Bicycles. He has also worked as a National Account Executive at AdvancedMD, a Management Analyst at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, a Sales Marketing Consultant at DLS Marketing, and as a Billing Supervisor at Ogilvy.

Apart from his professional life, Chip enjoys outdoor activities and sports, which makes him an expert in the fields he serves. He has worked with a diverse range of clients, including Nordica, California Coast Classic, ACT Lab, Bergans of Norway, Bosch, Focus, Interbike, Jack Wolfskin, and Outdoor Retailer, to name a few.
