Chinmay Patel is a seasoned engineer with a focus on autonomous aircraft design and testing.

With a strong academic background in Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering from top universities like Stanford University and Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Chinmay has a solid foundation in the field.

With over a decade of experience, Chinmay has been actively involved in testing various autonomous E-VTOL aircraft and flight critical systems. From cutting-edge electric aircraft to traditional tail-draggers, Chinmay's expertise spans a wide range of aircraft types.

Chinmay is known for taking on challenging projects that push technological boundaries and require meticulous integration work. He has been part of multiple successful integration, first flight, and envelope expansion projects for different types of E-VTOL/UAS aircraft.

Currently, Chinmay holds the position of Principal Flight Test Engineer at LTA Research and Exploration. Prior to this, he has held key roles at reputable organizations like Wisk and Acuity Technologies, Inc. and has also contributed to academia as a Course Assistant at Stanford University.

Chinmay's skill set includes autonomous aircraft design, sensor selection and integration, test planning, risk assessment and mitigation, test execution, and model validation. His hands-on experience coupled with his academic achievements make him a valuable asset in the field of aerospace engineering.
