Chinmay M.Eng.

Chinmay M.Eng. is a graduate student at the University of Calgary with a focus on Power Markets, Power Systems, Renewable Energy Sources, and Data Science. His competencies include power system studies, electricity market derivatives, power system modeling software, machine learning, handling big data, dashboard and visualization creation, and programming in Python, R, and C. Additionally, he is familiar with big data frameworks like Hadoop and Spark, system reporting, and root cause analysis based on data.

Chinmay holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary with a GPA of 3.9/4.0 and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda with a GPA of 3.8/4.0. He completed his education at Baroda High School, Bagikhana.

In terms of professional experience, Chinmay has served as a Specialist in Renewable Energy Resource Assessment at WSP in Canada. Previously, he worked as an Electrical EIT at Teshmont Consultants, an Engineer in Solar Analytics at Mahindra Susten, and completed an internship at Larsen & Toubro Power.
