    Dr. Chinh Dang is the Vice-President of Researcher, Quantitative Analyst at WorldQuant LLC, located in Hanoi, Vietnam. He holds a B.E. (Hons.) degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from Talented Engineer Programs, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Dr. Dang pursued his academic journey further from August 2010 to May 2015 as a research assistant at the Wireless and Video Communications (WAVES) Laboratory, Michigan State University, where he obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. During his time at Michigan State University, his research interests encompassed various areas such as image/video quality enhancement, multimedia understanding, Big Data analysis, machine learning, compressed sensing, and manifold/geometric topology-based signal processing. Dr. Dang has received notable accolades, including the Gold Medal from the 16th Vietnam National Olympiad of Mathematics for undergraduate students in 2008 and the top 10% Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP) 2015.
