Chikaelo Ibeabuchi
Chikaelo Ibeabuchi is an Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney's Office. He was appointed as the Chief of the Housing & Tenant Protection Unit within the Financial Frauds Bureau.13 This unit, created in October 2022, focuses on targeting systemic criminal harassment of tenants and abuse of government programs by landlords and developers.1 Ibeabuchi oversees three cross-designated Assistant D.A.s with backgrounds in housing and real estate law, along with a dedicated Housing Coordinator.1
