Chiara Somajni is a talented freelance journalist, editor, and writer with considerable experience in contemporary culture, social issues, and innovation. Her work embodies a combination of journalistic excellence and cultural engagement, which has earned her a reputation as an interdisciplinary cultural agent. Her focus today is on finding innovative ways of achieving top-quality information with high impact while promoting inclusion and dialogue.

Her appetite for experiments across different disciplines led her to specialize in digital culture, which she considers intrinsically interdisciplinary.

In her career, Chiara has worked as a journalist and a cultural agent. She has worked across different organizations in different capacities. She has worked as a staff editor and journalist at Il Sole 24 Ore, a board member of ActionAid International, and as a contributor to Wikimania 2016 at Wikimedia Italia. She has also founded a startup coffeebreak ug, curated events, and edited books.

Chiara is a graduate of Deutsche Schule Mailand. Also, she has passed through several courses and educational programs. She studied Start-up at Founder Institute, Mediation in Strafsachen at TOA Servicebüro, and victim offender mediator at Dike Cooperativa per la mediazione dei conflitti.

Her experience cuts across journalism, media, social justice, digital culture, startups, and education. Chiara has served as an Adjunct Professor at Università Bocconi and a Scientific Collaborator at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Italian Switzerland. She is currently serving as the vice-chair of the International Board of Actionaid, an NGO that fights for social justice.
