Chetty Arun is a product design director and a key member of the core founding team at Razorpay, an online payments company in India. The company is supported by renowned investors such as Y Combinator, Sequoia Capital, GIC, Ribbit Capital, Tiger Global, and Matrix Partners.
With over 5 years of experience at Razorpay, Chetty has successfully established and expanded the design team to over 40 members with diverse expertise. He has collaborated with various teams to deliver innovative FinTech products and played a pivotal role in shaping the organizational design culture, processes, and systems.
Chetty Arun is responsible for leading the design initiatives at Razorpay for both Payments and Capital services. Additionally, he oversees a specialized team known as the culture committee, dedicated to promoting and maintaining the organizational values.
Outside his professional engagements, Chetty is actively involved in mentoring aspiring designers and product managers, offering guidance and support through mock interviews. He is also engaged in hiring talent for roles such as UX researchers, UX writers, Product Designers, and Visual Designers at all levels to contribute to the FinTech landscape in India.
