Chetan Rai is a highly accomplished professional with a solid educational background and extensive experience in the tech industry.

Chetan pursued his academic excellence with a B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and continued to excel by obtaining an M.S. and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University.

His career journey is marked with significant leadership roles in various renowned organizations. Chetan Rai served as the Vice President of Engineering at Lacework, where he showcased his exceptional managerial skills.

Prior to his role at Lacework, Chetan co-founded Abacus.AI, which later rebranded as RealityEngines.AI, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mindset.

Chetan Rai has a rich history with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he held multiple key positions including VP & GM (InfoSight), Vice President of Engineering (Nimble Storage and InfoSight), and Vice President of Engineering at Nimble Storage. His contributions were instrumental to the success of these organizations.

With a strong foundation in software development, Chetan has held pivotal roles such as Director Of Software, Software Architect, Manager / Director of Engineering (Filesystem & Platform) at Nimble Storage, showcasing his diverse skill set.

Before joining Nimble Storage, Chetan Rai honed his technical expertise at Agami Systems as a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead and later as a Manager / Director of Engineering.

In the early stages of his career, Chetan Rai sharpened his coding abilities at Zambeel as a Senior / Principal Software Engineer, laying the groundwork for his subsequent achievements in the tech industry.
