Cheryl Sokolow

Cheryl Sokolow is an art-world veteran with over 20 years of experience, known for her expertise in art history, business development, and sculpture curation.

With a Master's Degree in Art History from City University of New York-Hunter College, and Bachelor's Degrees in Art History and Anthropology from University of Denver, she brings a strong academic background to her career.

Cheryl is actively involved in the art community, serving on the Board of Directors of ATOA, and being a member of The Association of Women Art Dealers and Artable.

As the daughter of an International Sculptor, Cheryl's passion for art was nurtured from a young age through studio art classes at the Art Students League.

Throughout her career, Cheryl has held various roles such as Art Adviser, Gallery Director, and Director of Business Development at artnet, where she has been a key figure for over a decade.

In 2009, Cheryl founded C Fine Art, a curatorial and private dealership specializing in large-scale indoor and outdoor sculptures, representing established international artists with a focus on formal abstraction.

She is the Founding Director and Curator of the 'Uncommon Ground' sculpture series in Bridgehampton, a renowned outdoor exhibition that showcases large-scale sculptures in a garden setting, enriching the Hampton's seasonal arts program and fostering community engagement with sculpture.

C Fine Art, under Cheryl's leadership, offers advisory services to individuals, corporations, and institutions, along with curatorial consultation for exhibitions and site-specific projects.
