Chenming Chang
Founder and CEO at PETcoil
Chenming Chang is the Founder and CEO of PETcoil, a company developing a portable PET system for on-demand imaging at a fraction of the cost of existing PET/CT and PET/MRI products.12 He founded PETcoil in May 2019.1
Chang holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University, where he also worked as a Graduate Research Fellow from 2012 to 2019.1 During his time at Stanford, he led an interdisciplinary team developing the first radio-frequency (RF) penetrable positron emission tomography (PET) insert system for hybrid PET/MRI.1

Prior to his academic and entrepreneurial career, Chang served as a Second Lieutenant in the Taiwan Marine Corps from 2008 to 2009.1
