Chelsea Snyder
Vice President of NuRoots Community at The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles
Chelsea Snyder is a highly educated professional with a background in theatre and drama. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft from the University of California, Santa Barbara, she went on to earn her Master of Arts in Theatre/Theater from Humboldt State University. Chelsea has worked in a variety of professional organizations, including the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles as an Assistant Director of NuRoots, a position in which she employed her strong leadership skills to create engaging programs focused on Jewish identity and culture. Prior to her role at NuRoots, she served as the Senior Regional Director of BBYO and Assistant Site Manager at KYDS, among other positions. With her experience in education and theatre, Chelsea has also served as an Assistant Professor at Humboldt State University and as a Camp Counselor/Cornerstone Fellow at The Shalom Institute.
