Chelsea MacLaren is a multi-talented actor, singer, writer, and producer based in New York City. Born into a family of musicians, Chelsea has always been surrounded by the arts. She has honed her craft through formal education, studying writing and creative writing at Mercy College and Park University. Chelsea has also taken on-camera and improv classes at the Kimball Studio, and advanced scene study classes at BHP New York.
Chelsea is a rising star in the film and television industry, having recently wrapped the short film "Blue Horizon", written and directed by Tom Beaver. The film, shot remotely during quarantine, has been accepted at PIMFF and is currently running the festival circuit. Chelsea has garnered praise for her electric performance, which critics describe as "simply incredible".
In addition to her successful acting career, Chelsea is also an accomplished writer and producer. She is currently in pre-production for two short films she wrote, and will star in. Her favorite roles include Alice in "Closer" and Vanda Jordan in "Venus in Fur".
Chelsea is active in several professional organizations, including Actor/Singer and Vali Entertainment. She has appeared in several popular TV shows and web series, such as "SCORNED: Love Kills", "Legion of Doom" and "Game Of Mad Killing Veep Girls". Chelsea's interests include music, writing, reading, dancing and coffee.
