Chelsea Kimball is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering at the University of New Hampshire (UNH). She earned her bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNH as well. Her research focuses on wave-powered upwelling devices, which are intended to enhance kelp growth in aquaculture, potentially making kelp a more viable and sustainable option for biofuel and other applications.1
Professional Experience
Before returning to UNH for her graduate studies, Chelsea worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated from November 2017 to October 2021. In this role, she applied her mechanical engineering expertise in design and development.34
