Chelsea's interests and expertise span various areas including environmental policy & governance, renewable energy, clean tech, energy efficiency, climate change mitigation & adaptation, urban sustainability, arctic environmental governance, indigenous peoples' rights, and environmental conservation.

She holds a Master of Science (MSc) with Distinction from MESPOM, a Masters course in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management. Her academic background includes studies at St. Mary's College of Maryland and the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Chelsea has worked as a Program Coordinator and Data & Project Analyst for the Leading by Example Program at the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources. Prior to this role, she served as a Program Intern within the same department.
