In a project funded by Samsung Electronics, I work with Seoul National University and Dr. Youngtae Cho to analyze Samsung's consumer behavior trends across the United States, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. Our goal is to understand how environmental and societal factors create differences in purchasing habits across the 3 countries, in order for Samsung to tailor UX design to meet the preferences of consumers in the growing US and UK markets. Our research is focused in Los Angeles, New York City, Seoul, and London.

I supported Airbnb Australia & New Zealand with acquisition, optimisation, and growth across the APAC region. As part of the wider Worldwide Sales Team (WWS) and the immediate Hotels Team, I served as an ANZ Hotels Intern. My main task was to contribute to the growth of Airbnb’s “hotels” business in major geos across Australia & New Zealand (Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, etc). More specifically, I worked to drive the performance of hotels on Airbnb by helping them improve the way they list on the platform and through optimising and analysing listing appeal strategies. I also worked on a number of separate projects, including:
-Implementing a host appreciation program to reward & recognise hosts for major milestones
-Acquisition planning & strategy
