Prior to his current role, Foong was part of MoneyLion's founding team. He co-founded MoneyLion in 2013 and served as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since inception.8 As CTO, he played a crucial role in transforming MoneyLion from an underwriting and lending platform into a full-service digital banking platform that offers mobile banking, investment, and personalized financial solutions.7

Foong's expertise in AI and technology spans over 25 years. Before co-founding MoneyLion, he was a founding member of Simulex Inc., a boutique research firm specializing in AI and advanced analytics for predicting human behavior for various branches of the US Department of Defense and Fortune 500 companies.27

Foong holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.1 He is fluent in Chinese and English, with native or bilingual proficiency in both languages.4
