Chase Franklin

Chase Franklin is a full stack web developer based in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a passion for various aspects of web development including web design, content management systems, and SEO/digital marketing. He is currently employed at Chumney & Associates, where he focuses on coding emails and content pages for automotive clients, as well as creating and enhancing templates.1

Background and Education

Franklin's journey into web development began later in life. Initially, he pursued studies in psychology and French at North Carolina State University but left to work in the food industry for several years. He held various positions, eventually becoming an area manager for a chain of Japanese restaurants. Seeking new challenges and motivated by the desire to complete his education, he attended The Iron Yard Coding School, where he completed a Front End Engineering program in 2016. He learned essential web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and React during this time.1

In addition to his coding skills, Franklin has recently completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in web development from Wake Technical Community College, graduating on the President’s List in May 2024.1

Professional Experience

Before joining Chumney & Associates, Franklin worked on various projects that included building user experiences for applications and managing WordPress sites. His experience encompasses a wide range of responsibilities from daily content uploads to SEO enhancements and graphic design for marketing materials.1
