Charlotte Smith

Charlotte Smith is a prominent Partner at Fragomen, specializing in immigration and nationality law.

With a background in Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New England School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Politics from Wake Forest University, Charlotte brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice.

In her current role, Charlotte advises multinational corporations across various sectors such as financial services, technology, and engineering on all aspects of corporate U.S. immigration.

Her expertise includes handling nonimmigrant visas, employment and family-based permanent residency applications, U.S. citizenship applications, as well as E-Verify and I-9 compliance.

Charlotte's practice also involves managing Applications for Permanent Employment Certification (PERM Applications) with the U.S. Department of Labor.

Outside of her current position at Fragomen, Charlotte has gathered valuable experience through various roles including internships at the U.S. District Court, Greater Boston Legal Services - Immigration Unit, and the U.S. Department of Justice - Executive Office for Immigration Review, Miami Immigration Court.
