Co Chair at RAF LGBT+ Freedom Network
Charlotte Davies (she/her) is a veteran and Inclusion Manager who has played a significant role in the RAF LGBTQ+ community. She served in the Royal Air Force for 22 years3 and continues to work in the defense sector. Charlotte has been involved with the RAF LGBTQ+ network since its formation in 2006, sharing her experiences and insights through public speaking engagements.1
As the Co-Chair of the RAF LGBT+ Freedom Network, Charlotte is actively involved in supporting LGBTQ+ personnel and shaping policies within the RAF. She also serves as the transgender pillar lead, acting as the focal point for transgender issues in the Royal Air Force. In this role, she helps individuals who are transitioning and provides input on RAF policies to ensure they consider the needs of the LGBTQ+ community.2
Charlotte is openly gay and has been married to her wife Toni.4 She continues to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion in the defense sector, recently highlighting the importance of LGBTQ+ History Month in February 2025.3
