Charlotte Coulman

Charlotte Coulman is an experienced policy professional in the civil service and has a background in the private sector.

Charlotte's journey started through the Civil Service Fast Stream program, where she gained insights into high-profile government policies such as Net Zero and UN Biodiversity Convention.

She is known for her strong communication skills, values-driven approach, outcome-oriented mindset, and her dedication to creating a net zero future.

Charlotte studied History at UCL for her Bachelor of Arts degree and completed her A Levels in History, English Literature, French, and Sociology at Franklin Sixth Form College.

She also has educational experience from Tollbar Academy.

Throughout her career, Charlotte has held various roles including Head of Briefing - Carbon Capture Usage and Storage at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.

She has also worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), a Policy Advisor at the Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs as part of the Civil Service Fast Stream program, and as a Consultant, Inbound Sales Business Development Representative, and Business Development Trainee at Meltwater.

Her previous experiences also include internships at GEMS Education and Cambridge University Press, ambassadorship at UCL, and roles at England Golf, Face Painting and Hair Braiding.

Charlotte Coulman has showcased her diverse skill set in policy development, strategic planning, communication, and leadership across her various roles in the civil service and private sector.
