Charlie Robinson Branda

Charlie Branda is a social entrepreneur, change agent, and community leader with an MBA in finance, marketing, and organizational behavior from the University of Chicago. With 15 years of experience as a commercial banker, he specialized in serving non-profit organizations. His expertise lies in financing capital projects, tax-exempt bonds, new business development, credit analysis, market research, and strategic planning. Over the course of more than a decade, he held leadership positions within various non-profit and community organizations. His journey led to the establishment of a new non-profit organization that leverages art to foster connection, opportunity, and inclusion in a diverse neighborhood on the near north side of Chicago.

Charlie Branda completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government at Wheaton College before pursuing his MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to that, he also participated in the High School Honors Program at East Anchorage High School.

Throughout his professional career, Charlie held notable positions such as Vice President at JPMorgan Chase, Vice President at American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, and Research Assistant at The Brookings Institution. Currently, he serves as the Founder and Executive Director of Art on Sedgwick, where his passion for art and community development converge to make a positive impact.
