Charles Yong has a diverse background in financial products, private banking and investment banking. With years of experience in interest rate swaps, structured swaps, FX cash, Money Market products and equities IT, he has successfully worked with multiple stakeholders from legal, compliance, market risk, credit risk, front office to counterparties. He has an educational background in Engineering from École Supérieure d'Électricité and National University of Singapore. As a PMI PMP certified Project Manager, Charles has managed teams of 30 people and is experienced in working with onshore/offshore teams. In addition to his financial acumen, Charles has strong skills in Stochastic Optimization & Data Modelling, and he is a co-author of seven research publications on multi-objective optimizations. Charles is multilingual and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English, and intermediate French. He is currently working as part of the Product Management Office at Bank of Singapore, Asia's Global Private Bank, after prior roles as a Project Manager and Business Analyst at Credit Suisse and Research Assistant at National University of Singapore, as well as an Operations Research Intern at Integrated Decisions System Consultancy.
