Rain is about more than just making stablecoins spendable. It’s about rebuilding the existing financial infrastructure piece by piece, using modern rails that are more global, open, and efficient.

That’s why I’m excited to share what we’ve been working on with @Visa . Traditionally, card issuers are limited to settling with card networks during banking hours. That means no settling on the weekend, no settling at night and definitely no settling on a holiday. This introduces unnecessary capital inefficiencies and operational burdens that ultimately affect end users.

That’s now no longer the case.

Today, we are announcing that Rain has been settling with Visa in @USDC, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Rain’s proprietary settlement stack brings all authorization logic and settlement onchain, making it possible to settle in stablecoins across multiple blockchains regardless of the day or time.

With our partners @creditcoop_xyz and @humafinance, we've also brought credit card receivables fully onchain bringing more transparency, flexibility, and access to the system.  In doing so, we’re launching a world first: closed-loop credit card receivable financing using stablecoins. By borrowing from and repaying capital partners programmatically, Rain is further reducing the cost of capital for credit programs while giving lenders access to superior, real-time collateral.

This isn’t just a proof of concept. It’s live, at scale, and already working.

We’re proud to be building alongside Visa as a principal member of the network helping move the industry forward.

And we’re just getting started here.
