Charles Douglas-Osborn

Charles Douglas-Osborn is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in technology, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

He is the founder of Haystack, a pioneering privacy-centric search tool for cloud files and computers, as well as Merlin Guides, a custom training solution for Salesforce and other platforms.

Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Charles spent nine years at Google, serving in various roles from Rich Media to productivity and automation.

He holds a BEng in Computer Science from the University of York and studied A Level subjects including Maths, Theology, Economics, and Computing at Eton College.

Throughout his career, Charles has held notable positions such as Head of Product at NewtonX, CEO & CTO at Haystack and Merlin Guides (both acquired by NewtonX), and Technical & Innovation Data Solutions Lead at Google.

His experience at Google also includes roles such as PM & Custom Solutions Engineer, Program Manager (Rich Media), and Rich Media Consultant.

Additionally, he has served in technical roles at Doubleclick and The Morrice Partnership.
