Charles D. King is the Founder & CEO of MACRO, a multi-platform media company amplifying the voices and perspectives of people of color in the entertainment industry.
Under his leadership, MACRO has produced and financed several critically acclaimed films, including Judas And The Black Messiah, Just Mercy, and Sorry to Bother You, earning multiple Academy Award nominations and wins.
Charles D. King's extensive experience includes serving as a Partner/Agent at William Morris Endeavor, where he made history as the first African American to become a Partner in the company's film and TV group.
He is also a dedicated philanthropist, active angel investor, and member of prestigious organizations such as AMPAS, Paley Media, and the Sundance Institute.
Charles holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from Vanderbilt University.
