Charith Tammineedi

Charith Tammineedi is a dedicated energy professional with a diverse background spanning across Mechanical Engineering, Applied Data Science, and Energy Engineering. He possesses expertise at the convergence of Energy and Data Science, showcasing a deep understanding of both fields. Throughout his academic journey, Charith studied BS in Mechanical Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, pursued a Master's degree in Applied Data Science from the University of Michigan, and further enhanced his knowledge by obtaining a Master's in Energy Engineering from Penn State University.

In terms of professional experience, Charith has held significant roles in reputable organizations, highlighting his commitment and capability within the industry. Currently, he serves as a Staff Fleet Health Engineer at Tesla, where he contributes to the advancement of energy solutions. Previously, Charith has worked as a Renewable Energy Consultant, taking on roles such as Growth Accelerator and Solar Performance Lead at Black & Veatch. He has also gained valuable experience as a Performance Analyst at First Solar and Performance Engineer at Solaria Corporation.

Aside from his corporate engagements, Charith has been actively involved in various projects and initiatives related to solar energy. He has showcased his leadership skills as the Co-Founder and Vice-President of the American Solar Energy Society - Pennstate Chapter. Additionally, Charith has contributed to research and assessment projects during his time at Pennsylvania State University, where he also served as a Project Leader for the Solar PV potential Assessment Team. His collaborative and research-oriented approach is further evidenced by his roles as a Research Assistant at Penn State University and a Project Manager at Environ Solutions.
