Charis Stengos, MBA (PhD Candidate)
Charis Stengos is a highly qualified and experienced professional with a diverse background in business development, process management, and strategy consulting across various industries, such as IT, cleantech, hospitality, fintech, proptech, and real estate. With 10 years of full-time international experience, Charis has worked with family businesses, startups, and multinationals alike, bringing her skills in operations, marketing, and sales to the table. She is currently pursuing a PhD on marketplaces and is passionate about reading, with a monthly average of four books. Charis is fluent in Greek, English, Romanian, and Spanish, making her a valuable asset for any business looking to expand internationally.
Charis has an impressive educational background, which includes certificates in entrepreneurship essentials from Harvard Business School Online, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in entrepreneurship from ESADE Business & Law School, and another MBA with a focus on financial entrepreneurship from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Charis has studied operational management through e-learning at Wharton Business School and attended seminars on services management and new trends in the food and beverage industry at SDA Bocconi. Additionally, Charis has a Master of Science (MSc) in services management and a Bachelor of Business Administration, both from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
Charis has held various positions throughout her career, such as Customer Partner Experience Manager for marketing and operations at Microsoft and former Industry Solutions Executive in business development for the public sector at Microsoft. She has also served as the National Empowerment Plan Lead in strategy for the public sector and as a Partner Business Evangelist in business development for startups and ISVs at Microsoft. Outside the tech industry, Charis co-founded Cyclefi, served as a strategy consultant at Infosys, and worked as a Business Development Manager and member of the executive committee of Porto Carras S.A -Technical Olympic Group. Additionally, Charis has worked for GreenLake Asset Management LLC as a Business Process Manager and as a Real Estate Sales Associate at ΠΛΑΙΣΙΣ.
