CMW Trucks is a small company that sells classic truck parts domestically & internationally. I established and built the company from the ground up. Website sales are the focus of the company. I built the site originally using Magento e-commerce software and recently changed to WooCommerce with a Wordpress core. 

I use Google analytics to monitor the site, push traffic with Facebook advertising and sometimes Google Adwords. As with all e-comm. sites converting traffic to sales is a top goal. ROI is still the bottom line. Along with generating sales, my role as owner allows me to sell over the phone with customers, pack & ship orders and work with vendors to purchase product.

Platapult was the company I started as a platform for launching new ventures and providing website marketing services. Most of my work was centered on building out a portfolio of my own automotive websites to place advertising on. At the time, the web advertising revenue was worthwhile. Using mostly on-page SEO, I built traffic to these sites. Relevant link sharing between these related sites was an aid in search marketing efforts. In addition, I provided SEO & SEM services on a limited basis as well as web hosting

LInk 2 began as an advertising agency focused on print and website design. Digital marketing was in its infancy. Most companies had print material that did not match their website design. We sought to make a better match between web and print design. As the company evolved and the web exploded, we explored website marketing techniques, especially SEO as a way to drive new sales to companies. 
My role as owner was very wide. I managed the company as well as a small team of graphic and web designers. As a team, we planned and built numerous websites for local companies. Industries included: Automotive, Retail, Industrial, Law, Accounting, Restaurant and more. As the web evolved, I began learning SEO/SEM practices to drive traffic and sales. I used our own websites along with client sites to test and see what worked best. It was a web 
marketing laboratory.

My first design job out of the University of Akron was with Graphic Enterprises in their advertising 
department. We worked closely on advertising projects as a small team with in-house clients. Projects were diverse and I gained a lot of experience quickly working with different people in departments throughout the company. My primary role was as graphic designer, but I also wrote copy, built signage and even trained outside customers on Adobe software when the software training division requested it.
