Chad Verbowski

Chad Verbowski is a highly accomplished computer scientist with years of experience in big data, data mining, and infrastructure. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba. Throughout his career, Chad has held several senior positions at some of the world's most prestigious tech companies, including Google, Microsoft, and eBay.

At present, he is the Sr. Director of BigQuery Engineering at Google, where he is responsible for the development and implementation of complex data warehousing solutions. He has also previously worked on Azure SQL Data Warehouse V1 and Bing Edge/Azure Frontdoor, CDN at Microsoft.

Chad has extensive experience in Hadoop, data mining, and infrastructure at eBay, where he served as the Sr. Director of Hadoop and Data Mining. Additionally, he has worked as a Software Architect/Group Manager at Microsoft Research.
