Chad Stender

Chad Stender is a prominent figure in the sports business sector, currently serving as a Partner at SeventySix Capital, a venture capital firm focused on sports investments. He oversees operations and investment strategies at the firm, which has made significant contributions to the sports industry through various startups and established companies. Stender has been with SeventySix Capital since September 2012 and also co-founded SeventySix Capital Sports Advisory in July 2020.1

In addition to his role at SeventySix Capital, Stender is a member of the Sport Business Advisory Board at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, a position he has held since April 2022. His extensive experience in the sports industry includes previous roles with notable organizations such as the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Comcast-Spectacor. He began his career in sports marketing and sales, gaining valuable insights into the operational aspects of professional sports teams.1

Stender holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from James Madison University and a Master of Science in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University. He is recognized for his contributions to the field, having received accolades such as the Dealmaker of the Year award from Smart Business in 2021 and being named one of Philadelphia Business Journal's 40 Under 40 in 2018.1

Outside of his professional endeavors, Chad resides in the Philadelphia suburbs with his family.
