CG 🤠 Chen

CG Chen is a seasoned Serial Entrepreneur with a strong background in software industry product development, specializing in B2C and B2B sectors including e-commerce, retail, IoT, AI/ML/NLP, and B2B SaaS.

She co-founded two successful tech ventures, mello (YC S21) focusing on B2B SaaS addressing employee burnout, and Ample Labs that leveraged AI & data to tackle homelessness issues in cities.

With over a decade of experience, CG started her career in UX at ecobee, working on mobile experiences for IoT devices, and then transitioned to designing enterprise software for luxury retailers at Tulip.

She holds a Master's degree in Fashion Management from Parsons School of Design, a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from OCAD University, and has been a part of Y Combinator's Summer 2021 Batch.

Throughout her career, she has held various roles including Founder & CEO, User Experience Designer, and Advisor at companies like Optiwatt, Flower Studios Venice, Crowdlinker, Revival, and Mentorcam.

Her diverse professional journey includes engagements with companies such as JUPE, Tasttlig Corporation, Sully.ai, and Unity Charity, where she served as Director of Design & Jupe Experience.

CG Chen's passion for entrepreneurship and innovation is evident from her role as a Web Design Intern at Roots early in her career to founding and leading I'm a Dreamer Apparel Inc, which was later acquired.
