Christina Burroughs, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional, is a principal and financial advisor at CAPTRUST, where she provides clients with expertise on wealth management issues. Christina has worked with wealth management clients for over 20 years, starting with Tanager Financial Services in Boston. Prior to joining CAPTRUST, she served as Managing Partner for MRA Associates, where she served on the MRA Associates Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Management Committee, and the Investment Policy Committee. Christina has a background in clinical psychology, having completed graduate coursework at Wheaton College. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Northwestern College and studied the program for Certification of Financial Planners for Northeastern University. In addition to her professional work, Christina serves on the Board of Directors for Act One Arizona, Expect More Arizona’s Business Advisory Council, and has served on numerous boards of charitable organizations, including hustlE PHX and The Be Kind People Project™. She was named to the Phoenix Business Journal's 40 Under Forty and Top 25 Businesswomen of the Year lists in 2011, and was recognized as one of Arizona's 50 highest-ranking women in the Arizona Republic's 2014 issue of Who's Who in Business. In 2014, she was recognized as one of the Top 100 Women Financial Advisors in the Financial Times, and more recently was featured as one of 2016's Most Influential Women in AZ Business Magazine. Christina resides in Phoenix with her husband and their two Ethiopian-born children.
