Erin McCubbin, EdD is an experienced leader and instructional designer with a passion for higher education, emotional intelligence, and empowering students. She holds a Doctor of Education degree from Northeastern University, where she studied Curriculum, Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, as well as a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies, both from Samford University.
Throughout her career, Erin has held various roles in academic counseling, recruitment, and admission at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School and Samford University, as well as field organizing positions with Obama for America. She has also taught as an adjunct faculty member at St. John's University.
Currently, Erin serves as the Upper School Head of Academic and College Counseling at Mount Vernon Presbyterian School, where she brings her expertise in emotional intelligence and student counseling to guide students towards self-awareness, advocacy, and leadership.
