Daniel Loshak is a highly skilled and recognized specialist in digital video, transcoding, workflow, and media processing. With over 25 years of experience, he has become a key player in the technical sales, presentation, support, production, training, and creative skills of the industry. Loshak has worked with everything from QCIF to UHD, H.263 to H.265, and from Flash to DASH, covering different formats, codecs and standards. He has a deep understanding of both SDR and HDR video.

Throughout his career, Loshak has held various positions, including Director of Market Development, Technical Sales, and Workflow Specialist at Western Digital, Senior Manager - File Transcoding Solutions in Harmonic, Sales Engineer in the EMEA region at ROO TV, and Sales Engineer at Brightcove, among others.

Loshak also worked at Verizon Business-Digital Media Technologies (DMT) as a Senior Video and Transcode Specialist for Technology, and at Vodafone as a Video Content Delivery Manager for 3G Video. Earlier in his career, he co-founded and served as the head of compression and production services at Newscast Video and was Lead Technical Specialist at Integrated Computer Engines (ICE).

Currently, Loshak's role is a Cloud Solutions Engineer at Hybrik of Dolby Laboratories, where his expertise is an asset in driving digital media workflows, managing and transcoding large-scale media, and developing and deploying simplified workflows. Loshak is a missing link between low-level technical details and high-level customer engagement, making him well-suited for handling complex digital video solutions.
