Damon Schopen is a software architect, developer, and owner of Port Light Technology, a company that provides custom software solutions to organizations. With a degree in Management of Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Schopen has worked his way up the ranks in software engineering, starting as an Internet Support Technician at Spangler Computers/JefNet Internet Service and later becoming a Software Test Engineer Intern at Rockwell Software.

Schopen has also held several positions at Dominion Enterprises, including Software Engineer, Software Engineer II, Development Team Lead, and Senior Developer/Team Lead. He co-founded FOCUS Coworking, a shared workspace designed for small businesses and independent professionals. Schopen has also worked as a part-time systems administrator at the Schauer Arts & Activities Center.

Schopen helps organizations build e-commerce solutions, integrate software systems, customize existing software, and architect and develop software as a service (SAAS) web applications that meet their specific needs. He listens to his clients' needs to create personalized software systems that are delightful to use.
