Cynthia Klein, also known as Rashad, is a prominent figure in the fight for racial justice and equality. He is the President of Color of Change, an advocacy group that seeks to address issues of inequality and injustice. Rashad has expanded the reach and impact of the organization, opening new offices in New York, Hollywood, and Washington, D.C.

Under his leadership, Color of Change has led national campaigns against ALEC, a right-wing policy group that promotes discriminatory policies. Rashad has also framed net neutrality as a crucial civil rights issue and leveraged the influence of the Black community to push for a free and open internet.

Rashad has been featured in numerous news outlets and has received awards and recognition for his work. He holds an honorary doctorate from St. Mary's College of Maryland and has served as Adjunct Faculty at Georgetown University.

Prior to his work at Color of Change, Rashad was Senior Director of Media Programs at GLAAD, where he championed representation of the LGBT community in media.
