I use physical computing, code, mobile technology, film and new materials and combine them with theater, narrative and interaction design to challenge our relationship with the digital world and to propose more humane and humorous possibilities for interaction.

As a freelance creative, designed and developed websites, applications, installations, videos and prototypes for clients such as The NorthFace, Nautica, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Apple, Jaded Ibis Productions, Ken Davenport Theatrical, Parsons, and the BMW Guggenheim Lab.

Co-Founded the Off-Broadway Two Fisted Company. Produced, co-wrote, and starred in the Off-Broadway hit Sailor Man, winner of Outstanding Play 2008 NY International Fringe Festival, "4 stars" Time Out NY. Conceived, coded, and starred in The Imitation Game (2012).

Artist and Inventor

Lead creative and client-facing voice on massive experiential and live event projects for clients ranging from Nike to the NFL. Contributed to the ideation and conceptual development of stage shows for a range of performers, from Kevin Hart to Beck to Bon Jovi.

Currently leading a multi-year collaboration between the MFA in Design and Technology and the School of Fashion to reinvent the runway for the Parsons Benefit.

Past courses include Design for this Century, the core design theory class required for all MFA D+T students, and Orchestral Garments, a collaborative graduate course with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

Led workshops on wearable computing, conceptualization, new materials, and game design at Parsons, ENSAD Paris, The University of Boras, Aalto University Helsinki, at various high schools in New York and Dubai. Helped lead private innovation and creativity workshops for brands such as VF (NorthFace, Seven, Vans) and Dove.

Adjunct Professor

Inaugural fellow in a year-long position working one-on-one and in small groups with public school teachers to create pedagogical and practical tools for better integrating technology into their classrooms and lesson plans. Continued to work with the organization in an advisory role for the second year of fellows.

Named one of AdAge’s 100 Hottest Brands (2009), featured in NY Times, WSJ, others. Acquired over 1k new customers per month. Oversaw photography, PR/promotion calendar, ad buys, direct marketing. In charge of all customer experience, including managing six person "Ninja" customer support team.

Led service and support for the 24-hour flagship store, managing a team of 120 Geniuses and Trainers and 3 Assistant Managers delivering company-best 5,500 appointments and 75 workshops a week.

Apple

Sr. Assistant. Store Manager - Service

Grew Creative Trainer team from 12 to 40 employees, delivering benchmarks in customer satisfaction. Led all in-store events, from Vincent LaForet photography workshops to DJ events with Diplo and DFA. Represented Apple Pro Apps, managing booths at NAB, MacWorld, Tribeca Film Festival and PhotoPlus.

Asst. Store Manager - Creative

Provided daily feedback on story, marketing and gameplay for Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead, Warriors and more. Rewrote game scripts for Rockstar’s parent company, Take Two Interactive.
